In their area of responsibility, stopping the installation or use of any electrical equipment considered to be dangerous, and reporting to the manager any situation that may affect the safe use of electricity
Regularly checking that the electrical nominee or electrical contractor has reviewed and inspected uncertified installations, and signed the electrical log book entries
Investigating, recording in the electrical log book and reporting to the manager
any electrical shock or burn received by a person
any fire suspected to be caused by electricity
any dangerous occurrence involving electricity that could have caused injury to a person.
Ensure an entry is made in the mine record book and electrical log book for all such incidents
maintain the electrical log book and record in it all information required
regularly liaise with the manager of the mine on the status of all statutory matters within their area of responsibility.

Directing the electricians to follow safety methods and precautions while working. For instance, using anti shock hand gloves during the installation and connection of the electrical systems
Precautioning the administration about the safety standardized procedures followed by the company
Guiding the higher administration about the different electrical dangers it may face due to
Observing and supervising the initiation of new electrical instruments and equipment
Assisting the electricians to carry on with the initiation of new intricate instruments and equipment negligence.
Supervising and directing the design of proper sketches to acquire proper knowledge of the electrical systems and the electrical circuits as a whole

You are a key member of the marketing team working to grow business. With your technical background you will be expected to work with design engineering to understand capabilities and then extrapolate these strengths to new markets and identify specific target customers.
Proactively approach target customers and network in the appropriate industry with a view to creating viable business opportunities.
Work with design engineering to fully understand what the customer’s requirements and issues are.
Lead the responses to customer RFQs, this is working with project engineering to develop proposals and quotations that match the customer’s needs and objectives.
Assist the Project Manager in the review of RFQ and contract documentation.
Having knowledge of Electrical equipments and their symbols.
Assemble documentation packages and produce drawing sets which are then checked by an engineer.
Confer with engineering staff and other personnel to resolve problems.
Draft working drawings, wiring diagrams, wiring connection specifications or cross-sections of underground cables, as required for instructions to installation crew.
Measure factors that affect installation and arrangement of equipment, such as distances to be spanned by wire and cable.
Study work order requests to determine type of service, such as lighting or power, demanded by installation.
Visit proposed installation sites and draw rough sketches of location.
Determine the order of work and the method of presentation, such as orthographic or isometric drawing.
Explain drawings to teams and provide adjustments as necessary.
Prepare and interpret specifications, calculating weights, volumes, and stress factors
Review completed drawings and cost estimates for accuracy and conformity to standards and regulations.
Write technical reports and draw charts that display statistics and data.
Use computer-aided drafting equipment and/or conventional drafting stations, technical handbooks, tables, calculators, and traditional drafting tools such as boards, pencils, protractors, and T-squares.
Completed layout drawings and electrical schematics in AutoCAD.
Reviewed and corrected electrical designs as required.
Adhered to company and project policies in electrical drawing creation.
